The Beach

We spent a day at South Daytona Beach while in Florida.  That was a blast.  In fact our last day in Florida we let the kids decide what we were going to do and they all said let's do the beach again.

The Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom was a blast. We used our handy tour guide mike to get on all the rides without standing in any long lines.  It worked and by 3:30 we had done all we wanted to do in the Magic Kingdom and went home to swim.

Blue Man on the Fourth

So after arriving on the 4th, finding our home and sleeping a few hours we were of on our second adventure.  Our kids LOVED this show.  Scott and I saw Blue Man in vegas 6 years ago and loved it too. After reading about how crowded all the theme parks would be on the 4th but still wanting to do something really fun.  We decided to fork over the big bucks and go.  It was so worth it.  This is at the end of the show.  We sat up front and had to wear ponchos to protect us from flying substances.  Yes that is white crete paper all over us.  Can't explain...you'll just have to see it for yourselves.

Our home away from home

Our home we rented in Florida has been a blast.  We have 12 beds, 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a giant pool outside.  Before and after every event we go we have to swim.  Even if it is only for 2 minutes.  The weather here has been wonderful.  In the mid 80's.  It has only rained once and that was yesterday while we were in watching dance. Very different from the last time here. Yes, the house really is banana yellow, with pink carpeting inside.

Our Adventure Begins

The flight:  I Sandi, promise to never fly the red eye again.  Our flight to Orlando left at 10:00 pm, but we had a layover in Vegas for two hours at 12:00. We then arrived in Florida at 7:00 am. This pic is of our kids in the airport, tired but obviously not bored.  ( wish we had all these devises riding in the hatch of the Toyota Corrolla, all the way to California).  You can"t see but Jess is on her lap top and Conner is asleep.  US airways picked our seating for us and did not place any of us together on the plane.  Conner and Nikki were expected to sit alone on a six hour flight unless we could get someone to trade.  Scott worked out his situation with Conner but when I asked the lady sitting in J20 to sit in k20 ( both window seats by the way) so I could sit with Nikki...SHE SAID NO.  So Nikki began to cry.  This didn't even phase the lady. This lady was also probaly tipping the 300 pound mark and couldn't fit in her seat.  The man on the other side of me was also tipping 300 pounds.  So I was squished between two chubbies  with my daughter crying in the row behind me.  Luckily for me I am married to a knight in shining armor.  Scott saw my situation and with his charming ways got the stewardess to go around asking everyone on the plane if they would move around to get Nikki and I sitting together.  Finally we ended up sitting together.  After a night of a baby constantly crying a few rows back and a little boy continually tossing his cookies all night. No sleep for Sandi and off to start the fun vacation.  No more red eye flights...please remind me of this.
