The Baptism

Right up there with one of the best days of a Mom's life was Austin baptizing Conner. So cool to see both my boys in white and having Conner be Austin's first baptism. Conner took it all very seriously. By the time we got to the baptism room he was nothing but smiles! He even tried to be really good all day Saturday! :) Stephanie gave a great talk on the Holy Ghost and then Scott confirmed him the next day! I can hardly believe my little boy is growing up so fast!

Austin's first Gig

Austin played at the "battle of the bands" friday night. I'd like to say it was great to see him perform but....we missed it! Ugh I thought it was at 7:30 but when we got there Austin had already played his three songs. We enjoyed watching everyone else though! I came home and found it all on you tube! So here are the fake pictures I stole of facebook to make it look as though I saw the whole thing. Here's hoping that wasn't his first and last show!

Allanna's Wedding!

Our niece Allanna married Cory Junck this past weekend. The wedding and reception were so much fun. All the families mingled and had a blast together. We ate danced and celebrated a fun happy day! We all love Cory and he has fit into our family wonderfully. He was an only child and so he loves being around family and playing with the kids. Austin especially loves the fact that Cory now shows up to all the Snowden family functions. He is a great baseball player, singer and in the Army with Allanna. That is how they meet. It is super fun to add to the family! :)

Austin and jr. prom

Austin took Khloe Arledge to Junior Prom. It was her 16th birthday on prom so she was very excited! We had a group of 20 kids to our house for breakfast. They then took all the girls paint balling. The Mom's did not think this was a great idea! They all had so much fun! Prom night was at the Meyers home and then had fun dancing!

Sidney makes TDT :)

Sidney has wanted to be on TDT since she was little watching them oerform from our backyard at football games. It wasn't really a suprise to her Mom when she made it but it was a relief. Another one of her dreams come true! She is going to rock it on the high school dance team. Sid is soooooo excited to be in High School and be involved in all the fun!

Pismo Beach

Scott drove our family down to Pismo Beach and then he and Sidney had a little father, daughter time and drove home! Scott had to get home to work and Sidney needed to be home for TDT tryouts. As a kid I spent a week almost every summer in Pismo Beach. It was my Aunt Aleta's 70th birthday party so we decided to hang out with them for a few days. We went to the beach every day and rode sleds down the sand dunes. Conner loved the dunes. He could have stayed there all day every day! I missed Scott and Sidney but it was really relaxing and we had a lot of fun visiting with a lot of relatives my kids have never met and I hadn't seen since I was a kid.
