Jessi the cage dancer! I'm so proud!

Jessi performed for the first time as a "Thunder Dancer"! She had a blast. They danced at the energy solutions center at the "Ultimate Fighting" event.  They danced in the fighting ring! She has a bunch of friends on the team and loves it!

Spring Training with Austin

Ozzy has never been one to give up with out a fight! Well this year he has a real battle on his hands. He is trying to break into Timpanogos High School Baseball. Tiompanogos gas won the state championship 3 times in the past 5 year.  They are really good and usually you have to play baseball year round to have any hope of making the team.  Austin had a broken hip last year and couldn't try out as a freshman so now as a sophmore is going for it.  We took him to Mesquite for a 3 day camp to give him some outdoor practice.  We couldn't resist a drive into Vegas for some ESPN zone.  It was fun to just take Austin on a trip.

Odyssey Dance Comp

Every year we spend three weekends in Ogden at Dance competitions.  This year is no different.  The girls and I spent 7 hours friday and 12 hours saturday watching dance. I actually don't mind sitting in a theater for that long watching dance 3 times a year.  It is so fun to watch the progress of the girls too.  Sidney is such a hard worker and it shows on the dance floor.  She has improved so much! Nikki is miss personality on the dance floor and does great too.  Jess choreographed 3 dances in this competition and it was fun to see her in the role of dance teacher.  Steph and Rachel came and watched for awhile too.  Thanks Steph see you next month for LADM

What I did during the Superbowl.

watched one of the best super bowl games ever

SOS

I discovered tonight I can not swim!  I've always known I was a terrible swimmer, but I really now know I totally suck at swimming! I think it has something to do with the evil swim teacher who lived on the hill. Mike and I were petrified of her. After having her throw me in the pool I never wanted to go back to swimming lessons.

Scott tried to give me a lesson tonight because, come May, I will be swimming 400 meters in the triathlon.  It was a disaster.  Conner can swim farther than me. I need some serious prayers. I could die! OK I'm being a little over dramatic but I am going to have to go to the pool at least once a week and really dig in and practice!

Good thing last year over half the ladies walked in the pool when they could touch!

The months go by......and the years

Wow time sure flies. I hardly noticed I hadn't blogged in over a week until I looked at my little sisters blog and she had blogged twice since I had been on.  Ooops...Austin went on his first date this past weekend.  He was asked to Preference by a Junior girl.  He has only been 16 a few weeks so I was a little nervous for him.  He handled himself great and had a fun time.  Danaca also went with her boyfriend Alec.  I stayed up way too late waiting to hear all the fun stories.  I discovered boys are not nearly as animated about their nights as girls.  Jess used to go on and on about her nights.  Austin just tells me it was fun and anything else I get out of him is pulled with great effort!
