Sidney and LADM
Sidney and I went to Ogden last weekend for a dance competition. Our Studio Rocked. We took first in almost every division. We got the highest a Platinum award on every dance and took home the highest score of the competition! Sidney loooked great. She is becoming a beautiful young women and a very good dancer. She loves dancing sooo much!
Jess and I go to Denver
Jess and I traveled to Denver for the weekend so Jess could tryout for So You Think You Can Dance. We woke at 4 am and arrived at the SYTYCD audition place in Denver at 8 am. Jess got in the huge line and sat all day. Finally at 5 pm she got her chance to shine and she froze. She said it was her worst audition ever. So sad for Jessi but that just gave us tons of time to play. That night we ate at Cheesecake Factory and went shopping! The next day we had manicures and pedicures. We followed the GPS everywhere we wanted to go. It led us astray a few times. One time we wanted to go and tan and it took us to Pudge Brothers Pizza instead. We drove around in a little red Yaris. We got massages one day too and window shopped a lot. All in all it was a very fun fun trip!
Jessi's first Thunder Game.
The first home game of the Thunder was this past Monday night! We all went to the game. It was really fun! Jessi and her Thunderbolts team were really good. The organization has a few kinks to work out but we all had fun at the game. They have 7 home games this year and we are going to try to go to all of them! Jess even gets us free tickets!

The Cons
Conner will be seven this month. This is crazy to me. Where is the time going?
Conner is one funny kid and I love him to death. He can be the sweetest, loving child one minute and change in to a monster the next. Last week he decided to write and illustrate a book about dance and then sell it to earn money for Jess because she is poor. He worked very hard on the book, made color copies, stapled them all together and then went around the neighborhood selling his book. He then put the money away in his secret spot and Sunday when Jess came over he delivered the money to her. It was very cute!

Last week he also came home and told us they learned about slavery in school. At recess he decided to walk up to a little african- american child and asked him if his dad picked cotton. The child told him no and Conner told him " Yes he does" and kept telling him his Dad picked cotton. We had to have a long talk about this. One of those: I don't want to laugh in front of him but think it is really funny
Last Simday we went to Grandma Linda's for dinner and after spending a full weekend with his cousins, he was dead tired. He threw a complete fit and had to go sit in the car outside. The little stubborn thing spent the whole hour we had left at Grandmas in the car because he wouldn't come in and tell grandma he was sorry. Everytime I came out to check on him he was a beast. We love you Conner!

Let the Sunshine In
Yay!! Today we got to continue our favorite family Sunday activity. Walking to the park or High School and playing baseball, basketball or football. Keeping the Snowden family locked up all winter on Sundays is a bit difficult on us all. We all love the Sun and to go play outside. We had a blast today walking over to the High School and warming Austin up for baseball tryouts tomorrow! Go Austin!
Go Jazz
So we are deep into Jazz season. With only 11 games left and the Jazz on a 7 game winning streak. Jazz fever is alive at the Snowden house. We are all going to a game Wed. night. Our elementary school also just recently won a Jazz player to come to our school and read a story. We had to be one of the top 10 schools in Utah to read the most minutes in a month. We read over 800,000 minutes WOW! All of us PTA Mom's are hoping Kyle Korver shows up but Scott is hoping it is Kirelinko (haha) I kind of have a crush on Kyle. Scott is sick of hearing about him!
